Our industry, much like other trade industries, is entering a time of uncertainty regarding the future workforce. For years, trades were pushed to the back burner to make room for emerging technologies. Those days are gone thanks to thought leaders like Jamie McMillan. Jamie is a Journeyman Ironworker, a Boilermaker, and the founder of KickAss Careers. Women are a minority in most trade industries, so Jamie is setting the bar for the current and next generation of female workers. Listen as McMillan provides insight on filling the experience void left behind by the retiring workforce. It will ‘take a village’ to ensure our industry thrives throughout this generational shift, and Jamie is preparing the next generation.
